Biomass utilisation

A very interesting alternative to the anaerobic fermentation is the aerobic treatment of the organic biomass fractions with specific bacteria. At the end of this process a high quality liquid and solid fertiliser can be produces. The usability of this fertiliser in the marked is depending of the provincial legislatures. In Germany there are some restrictions. Only separate collected organic fractions can be used. But generally, this is a effective way for the "zero waste" production because after sorting and suitable recovery of the not organic fractions only a few parts of the waste have to be deposited.
